Moorish Swordsman

Occasionally I'll feel the potent desire to draw oriental or exotic figures, particularly warrior caste types. Roustabouts, brigands, and old-timey rank-and-file soliders also pique my interest

In any case, this is the first time I've taken a crack at using a fountain pen in drawing. The pen in question is a brand name, sold-in-a-blister pack type, one Pilot brand Varsity pen. It was a bit of a pain to get it started, but it'd been sitting for a while, so I don't blame it too much...
