Finding Time!

Even with all the craziness happening with work and various other adult things, I'll be making the attempt to get back to creative things.

You may have seen my posts about sketching- I'm getting back to studies. I feel like my sense of space has improved, although I've still a ways to go yet. Shading and values are still my bugaboo.

In any event, please make yourselves available, dear public. I appreciate any and all feedback- positive and not.

If you would peruse my gallery in the meantime, that would be appreciated. There's a fair bit of catching up to do :)

If you hadn't already guessed, I'm attempting NaNoWriMo

Thus far, it's been pretty lousy in terms of productivity

Keeping at it, though. I can't just detach my fingers from my head like I can with drawing...that might be why I'm having such a hard time.

In any event, I hope to keep you guys posted on the happenings...maybe get my word counts off the ground while I'm at it...

As you may have noticed, I've been at it with the Inktober thing

I'm ashamed to admit I've been kinda blegh in the shading department for a while and haven't rectified that. I will be attempting to do so in the days ahead.

Also my inking in general comes out blotty and stiff, and when not fuzzing up my carefully conceptualized details, my ink lines are coming out scratchy and gradeschoolerish.

It's high time I got around to serious practice.

If nothing else, so my watchers can actually look forward to my post

I admit with no small amount of shame that I haven't kept up with NTA as much as I should have.

On the bright side, fitness and general self-education is going well.

With some effort, I should be able to get back to my fagnum opus within the week-

perhaps even finish the Wave Arc before I'm 30
